We want you to remember that God is sovereign over all things. Things in the world that appear to be out of control are, in fact, never out of control because God is sovereignly ruling and reigning at all times and in all circumstances. He also knows all things and has unlimited power to do whatever He sovereignly determines to do. Psalm 115:3 says it plainly: “Our God is in the heavens; He does all that He pleases.” Job knew this about God and said in Job 42:2, “I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” The Coronavirus is not a surprise to God, and it is not happening outside of His sovereign control. Therefore, do not fear. Do not panic. Do not be anxious. Your life is eternally in God’s hands, and you can trust Him. Therefore, rejoice in the Lord in this. Pray with thankfulness to God making your requests to Him, and God will give you His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:4-7).
