Dave’s Monday Blast – September 15, 2025

Last week we were discussing the Identity Crisis that grips this world in which we live. Genesis 1:26 clearly states that humankind was created in the image of God. Ephesians 2:10 clearly states that as products of creation we are His Workmanship/His Masterpiece and were designed to accomplish Good Works that He long ago determined for us to accomplish. This is His intent for us as Image Bearers.

Humanists (humans in a state of rebellion against their creator) forcefully state that God made mistakes in His creative processes, and it is incumbent upon us to correct His design flaws; hence the 500 + sexual aberrations of the LGBTQ + (of which Transgenderism just maybe the pinnacle). In His mercy and grace, God does allow His children to alter His design. But INTENTIONAL men of God know that altering a masterpiece does not make it better, it simply alters it. When a masterpiece is altered, it is no longer a masterpiece because it can no longer operate according to its design.

(1 Peter 2:9) “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” This is who we are in Christ. This is who we were created to be. Our God can not make mistakes, because He is God. We read in Psalm 139:14 …that we are fearfully and wonderfully made; perfect according to the creator’s design. Humanists say that God can and does make mistakes because a Humanist believes they are their own god and all humans make mistakes. Humanism places an = sign between God and Humankind.

Unfortunately, any one operating outside of the designed creative plan is on a path of destruction; body, soul and spirit. Fortunately, our God desires to restore His prodigals back to their original design. Spend a few minutes today meditating upon the following:

(2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” First 15 comments: “Through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we have been transformed from a state of rebellion and from that path of destruction into reflections of our Lord. Just like the Father of the prodigal, God runs out to meet us at our point of greatest weakness and clothes us with a new identity. The goal of which is to no longer sin against Him nor to challenge His design for us.”

(Isaiah 43:1) “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” God has saved us from a life of wandering and searching for who we are and has called us His holy and redeemed children. Our name is no longer associated with a sinful nature but rather the bloodline of Christ Jesus. (Just note that the first thing Transgender people do as they begin their process of altering His design is to rename themselves…their new identity).

Remember brothers…this world is not your home. First 15 comments: “The nation in which you live is no longer your highest allegiance. You are a child of the Creator, the one true God, and He has made you new, whole, and purposed for works of eternal significance.” Only God can declare your identity in Christ, because He after all is God and ….. you ain’t!
