Ask and Think

Most of us would like to make a spiritual impact in the lives of our grandchildren. How about sending them a verse from the Bible that has had an impact on you? One I have shared is Ephesians 3:20, 21 …

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”

Think about it. God wants to do all that we could “ask or think”.
But there is more. He wants to do things in us that are “beyond all we could ask or think”.
And there is still more; He wants to do “far more abundantly beyond all that we could ask or think”.
So the question, is how much are you able to ask or think? Just remember, God is thinking abundantly beyond that!

I remember when our family moved to Simi Valley in 1983. As a minister, I was scared when one of the first Easter Sundays we decided to hold Easter services at the High School Football stadium. Nearly a thousand people came. I remember standing behind the platform watching the people come and I was crying because I was scared. I experienced the same on many occasions since; God allowed me to speak to more people than I could have asked or thought. Carolyn and I have been to places all over the world; more places than we could have ever asked or thought.

When we believe this promise from God and allow it to govern our thinking, you will be amazed at what God does through you. So I urge you to ask and think and then standby for God to do big things.
