Dave’s Monday Blast – January 12, 2026

As I age, a few more reminders from those to whom I am accountable are very helpful; my bride, my children, and of course my oldest grandbaby who seems to remember everything I ever said that concerns the two of us (Partners in all things).

Family aside, INTENTIONAL men of God are always striving to mature their relationship with the Lord. It is to Him that we are accountable for our moment by moment thoughts and actions. Over the next couple of weeks I want to remind myself of what that accountability to Him looks like, and I shall take you along.

For this week let me begin with the following: Things that I want to be praying about in 2026: “Lord, as I step into 2026…”

1. I surrender what I cannot control.
2. Heal the parts of me that last year left tired or broken.
3. Give me peace that is stronger than fear and louder than doubt.
4. Protect my health, my mind, and the people I love.
5. Remove what no longer serves my growth or purpose.
6. Guide my decisions so I don’t repeat old lessons.
7. Bless my effort, even the ones no one sees.
8. Teach me patience when answers take time.
9. Help me choose faith over worry, every single day.
10.If nothing else in 2026, God, let me grow closer to You.
