Dave’s Monday Blast – October 14, 2024
The war being waged against Israel has surpassed one year. In that time since Hamas launched their offensive the IDF has all but eliminated their capacity to wage war. The ability of Hezbollah to be on the offensive has also been dramatically altered, and Iran itself has been ineffectual here-to-fore in their off-repeated mission to eliminate God’s Chosen People. In the process the world has suddenly changed and all the players for the Ezekiel 38 battle are in place; the stage has been set. It appears everyone is aligned against Israel!
My good friend, Dr. Dennis Harding, recently shared with me a resource that would be of benefit to your end times apologetic: Just look up Joseph Morris Ministries on YouTube. Each Wednesday he shares a 10 minute update called the “End of Days”. He is rock solid on his data and the Word. He sets a great plate for what is going on in the Middle East and why we should be paying attention. (Check it out)
The disaster on the east coast from hurricane Helene is incomprehensible and the lack of response from the Federal Government is shameful if not treasonous. The idea that FEMA is broke because they spent billions on relocating individuals who are in this country illegally is difficult to wrap the brain around. Some clarity on this conversation may eventually come to light. And then there was Milton!
With the next “most important election in our lifetime” looming (and I sense that it likely is), the issues that are important to both sides of the immense cultural divide highlight how divided the nation has become; we must not be discouraged, we must not be afraid, we are spiritual warriors, we are INTENTIONAL men of God.
I know that America has been uniquely blessed by the Lord. We have been privileged to play an important role during this church age in advancing the gospel message; but we have strayed from our Judeo-Christian roots. In spite of that truth, the Church is still relevant because only the Church can provide the answer to all the questions of our day. Matthew 28:18 is still our mission; it is the reason we are still here, it is our purpose. What a privilege it is to be alive right now! Whatever the results of the next election cycle, (the results are 100 % up to Him anyway, but we must do our part), whatever catastrophes we are certain to face, however divided the world becomes, the church must be obedient to the Word (1 Peter 3:15).
