Many of you inquired about when our annual Men’s Retreat will return after being canceled two years in a row. It appears that Woodleaf will continue to be unavailable for another year or so, but we have some good news: We have secured Zephyr Cove Conference Center at Lake Tahoe for the fall. Save the dates of October 29 – 31, 2021.
The retreat model will stay essentially the same at Zephyr, but the accommodations are an upgrade. As a result, the price reflects the upgrade. You will pay $199.00 or $229.00 for the weekend depending upon the room configurations. The rooms at Zephyr Cove resemble those typical of a hotel; they sleep either 3-4 or 2 per room; hence the price differences. We will not be registering for the retreat until August, but I wanted to provide an update, provide the dates to save, and allow you time to budget for the retreat. I have been able to reserve 34 total beds…so once registration opens, it will likely sell out in a heartbeat.
The speaker this year is Pastor Curt Harlow from Bayside of Granite Bay. Curt is a dynamic communicator who has an amazing gift of making The Word applicable to our daily lives. I have attached a short devotional illustrating this truth. Curt shares a timely reminder concerning the INTENTIONALITY of our Heavenly Father. He is always thinking of us and planning our steps.
