God’s Investment in You

As a believer with many happenings in your savings account, God has endowed many life-changing experiences you are expected to share with your grandchildren. As you do things together, God assumes a return on His investment in you. What do I mean?

You have a host of God-given episodes that need to be imparted to your grandchildren. You have wonderful blessings stored up in your savings account. You also have significant disappointments in this personal tally. We cannot ignore God’s Word reminding us:

“Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised,  and His greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:3, 4)

Our experiences with the Lord, all of them are God’s sovereign investment in us. We are not to pirate these events to ourselves. Our grandchildren earn profit from this review of God’s faithfulness. So don’t keep them to yourself. When you are with your grandchildren, whatever you are doing together will prompts a memory; share it with them. In so doing you are declaring His “mighty acts.”
