Dave’s Monday Blast – January 11, 2021

I graduated from Biola College a several years ago. Many years later it became Biola University. Primarily the change from College to University is specific to the percentage of professors who possess advanced degrees in their fields of study. One of the benefits of this level of professorial expertise is the creation of amazing fields of study for undergraduates and those seeking advanced degrees. Several years ago, Biola developed a degree program in Biblical Apologetics. One of their first graduates was Dena Davidson. Her father is Dr. John Jackson, President of William Jessup University. (She has good DNA.)

Dena is currently employed by Bayside Church in Granite Bay to manage their Thrive Leadership School. This program is designed to train young men and women for ministry. As you would expect, it has a strong apologetic bent. Dena is an amazing communicator and brilliant apologist. Some of you may remember hearing Dena on our campus about 6 years ago during a special WNL series on apologetics.

I enjoy listening to Dena teach on a variety of topics (she can be viewed on YouTube), but a couple weeks ago I was really blessed by her words of encouragement relating to the days in which we are living. I would love to have you click on the attached devotional as Dena shares some thoughts for the year before us. Giving you a little break from me this week!
