A recipe for Fail-Proof Security in an Insecure World!

What does it take to weather any storm? Spend some time today reading and meditating upon the passages connected to the following six principles:

1. LIVE for the future. (1:13)
2. Be WILLING to be different. (1:16)
3. Demonstrate a LOVING REVERENCE for our God. (1:17)
4. DEEPLY LOVE our brothers and sisters in Christ (1:22 – 25)
5. CRAVE spiritual nourishment. (2:1 – 3)
6. BUILD a spiritual house. (2:4 – 10)

Questions to consider:

Do these biblical exhortations describe my goals and purposes?

If not, what do I need to ask God to change?

A Biblical Apologetic for our days:

• God is who He says He is. (In spite of our circumstances)
• I am who God says I am. (His invaluable child – “In His Image”)
• God can do all that He says He can do. (He is faithful)
• I can do all things through God. (In Christ)
• God’s Word is alive and active in me. (As His Child)
