Dave’s Monday Blast – March 20, 2023
Is our idea of who God is accurate? What is our idea of who God is based upon? Perhaps a better question is this: Is our idea of who God is based upon His Word?
The days in which we live are unsettling. All creation is groaning under the weight of sin. We observe sin manifest in every way imaginable. Humankind is desperate to find a moment of peace and security amidst the stifling weight of sin. Only a proper view of who God is can provide the peace we so desperately desire. To experience the Peace of God we must be able to declare with full assurance the following:
- God is who HE says HE is. This is in spite of our circumstances! (Hebrews 12:2)
- I am who GOD says I am. He says that I am His invaluable child! (Luke 15:11 – 24)
- God can do what He says He can do. He does this because of His enduring faithfulness! (Psalm 23)
- I can do all things through God. It is HIS strength not ours or others! (Philippians 4:11 – 13)
Next week I want to share some simple Biblical Truth concerning who God really is and how this impacts our lives each and every day.
