July 22-30, 2017

In partnership with Greg and Patti Amstutz of Genesis Diez Camp, Auburn Grace Community Church will return to Ensenada County in
Baja California, Mexico in July 2017. The team will travel by car and be met at the Mexican border by a Genesis Diez representative who will escort the
team 80 miles south to their rustic summer camp. During the week long mission, members of the team will be serving the local indigenous children, as
well as formerly abused and abandoned Mexican children now living in orphanages and shelters. The children, or Amigos, as they like to call them, are
brought into the camp for the week and each child is paired with a member of our team. The goal is beautifully simple; spend the week developing a
personal relationship with your Amigo.  Singing, talking, and testimonies are a nightly ritual around the campfire. There are no special skills needed, just
a desire to spend time with God’s precious children who are desperate for relationship. You must be a high school aged student or an adult to join this
team, although younger students are welcome with parental supervision.
