“Building a family of believers who know Christ and make Him known” is more than just a “catchy” motto, it is passion of this church community. This missional statement of Auburn Grace Community Church determines the breadth and depth of every aspect of our ministry. The Church and the Family (biblically defined) are two of God’s covenant institutions. Neither institution can flourish without the other. God created us to have an intimate relationship with Him and with the body of Christ (the Church). This intimate relationship can only be nurtured through community. He intended the family to populate the Church and for the Church to invigorate and equip the family to carry out His greater mission; sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The backbone of the Church and indeed any healthy culture is the family.
