Hi Pastor Phil,
Once again, thank you for your courage in speaking God’s word and your message on The Second Epistle Of John. I like your comments about Truth. I have been reading through Romans and Romans 1:18 reminds me that the unsaved/fallen humanity seeks to suppress the truth but Second John tell us as Christians we must believe the Truth with the help of the Holy Spirit in that Jesus Christ was fully man and fully God.

Christian Myths:
1. God is a democratic God in that He does things not for His Own Glory but for the benefit of the majority of His creatures or for the greatest good of the greatest number.
2. The Visible Church is not needed.
3. I can be perfectly sanctified during my life time.

Who’s Myth is It? (mine or others)
Your suggestions above touch on what I questioned as a myth, Morality/Christian/Holy Living
Who properly defines what it is?
I say this issue is not christian living, someone else says,no, this is ok as christian lining.
Is the Myth then “I have freedom in Christ” not realizing the impact our lives have on others, Christian and Non Christian?

Pastor, I love your messages and I know this will be a great series, but when are we going to hop back into a book study? I love those going verse by verse. Saying that though, I know that this series will be good and look forward to learning from what the Lord lays on your heart to share with us.

WOW!!! Very profound, Pastor! Especially when you put that 15 month timeframe in a period of days, I was astounded!! 445 days…..all that tragedy….it truly is eye-opening!! Let’s keep our eyes focused on Jesus and facing East!! I’ve always thought it would be sooooo cool to be one of the ones ‘caught up’ with the Lord! Perhaps we will! I love it that you’re my Pastor!
