Hi, my name is Lori Halbert. I had the privilege of being born and raised right here in Auburn. I attended Lincoln Way Elementary School, E.V. Cain, Placer High School, and Sierra College. I have been married to my husband, Dan, since 1981. We have 5 children, Tasha, Ethan, Bradley, Jared, and Gracie. We have attended Auburn Grace since 1995. I have been the Children’s Ministry Director here at Auburn Grace since September 2003. We provide a nursery for 6 month olds to 2 year olds. We also offer Sunday school classes for 3-4 year olds, K-1st grades, 2-3rd grades, and 4-5th grades. These classes are staffed by volunteers who love kids and love teaching the Word of God to them. We want our kids to take home what they learn on Sunday morning and be able to use it during the week. To that end each child can have a notebook in which lessons are kept along with each week’s memory verse. Each child is given a chance to earn tickets by various means. The kids really look forward to “purchasing” fun rewards with their tickets earned. We also provide Junior Church for 3 year olds through 5th grade and nursery care during the second service.
